Yoga is the settling of the mind into silence. When the mind is quiet, it is easier to access the wisdom of our inner teacher and all the feedback from our sensory nervous systems as we practice. 

We do not measure progress in a yoga practice by physical prowess.  Our practice deepens with our capacity to be kind and maintain a sense of equanimity throughout the ups and downs of life.

Equanimity is a calmness abiding all change. Dwelling in the eye of the storm.
